Christmas 2023 - Santa goes all electric!

A Christmas Story, 2023

Life at the North Pole has become very hectic,

To be sustainable, Santa went all-electric.

Solar panels wouldn’t power the lights,

The North Pole has a September-to-March night.

And wind power isn’t such a breeze,

The turbines don’t do well in a year-round freeze.

So bad kids this year won’t get any coal,

The generator needs it for Santa’s clean energy goal!

Santa read that cows cause global warming with their gases,

And how well he knows what Comet often times passes,

He thought “there has to be a better way”

“Than these reindeer creating methane from hay!”

So with sustainable power still in mind,

He installed an electric motor on the sleigh, in behind.

Santa travels far and wide on Christmas Eve Night

Test runs at 300 miles had the low battery light,

Many of his stops have no Tesla charging station in sight,

How would he get through during Christmas Eve night?

Hey, “I know!” Santa ho-ho’d with laughter,

“I’ll carry a universal one-ten adapter!”

Twas the night before Christmas what did I hear?

It was a sleigh all alone! What? No tiny reindeer!?

The Jolly old Elf was climbing aboard,

Over his shoulder was a loop of electrical cord.

“Merry Christmas to all” as he hummed out of sight!

Thinking “wait until that December recharging bill comes to light!”
